Siebert, Illinois top Northwestern

Illinois senior Eric Siebert improved to 20-1 this season with a technical fall over Northwestern''s Josh Inch at 140 pounds, leading the No. 8 Illini to a 29-9 win over the Wildcats on Sunday in Evanston.
The UI, which lost to No. 17 Purdue on Saturday, also got wins from 118-pounder Steve Doerrer, 126-pounder Carl Perry, 142-pounder Adam Tirapelle, 158-pounder Bill Zeman, 167-pounder Ben King, 177-pounder Jevon Herman and heavyweight Karl Roessler.
