Player of the Game: Illinois' Trent Meacham

The News-Gazette contributor – don't forget to read his diary from Sunday – has a frugal 10 turnovers in 441 minutes in Big Ten play. That's astounding.

Backcourt

Illinois: B-plus

Ohio State: B

Demetri McCamey turned 20 years old on Saturday and on Sunday turned in a veteran-like performance against good buddy Evan Turner.

Frontcourt

Illinois: A-minus

Ohio State: D

In what likely will be their only two matchups in college, centers Mike Tisdale (23 points, six boards) and B.J. Mullens (22, 8) were almost dead even.

Bench

Illinois: N/A

Ohio State: B

Still a reserve, Mullens is probably going pro, by the way. Bruce Weber has trimmed his playing rotation, and the bench only got 23 minutes.

Overall

Illinois: A

Ohio State: B

It's been a Big Ten season of surprising sweeps for Illinois. First, Purdue, Then, Ohio State. But Illinois wants to avoid being swept by Minnesota, a 59-36 victor in January.
