Troy Gentle's weekly update on the eight players headed Bruce Weber's way and the six players headed Jolette Law's way:

MEN

TRACY ABRAMS (Mount Carmel) – Had 10 points as Mount Carmel struggled with a depleted Bishop McNamara squad last Friday, winning 51-42. The Caravan travels to face De La Salle and Mike Shaw today.

JOSEPH BERTRAND (Sterling) – Had 16 points, six assists and five steals as Sterling extended its conference winning streak to 12 games last Friday by defeating Streator 64-51. Next up is a home game against Dixon to- day.

MEYERS LEONARD (Robinson) – Leonard's 20 points helped hold off conference foe Mount Zion last Friday, 65-57. He is averaging 11.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. The Maroons travel to Paris today.

BRANDON PAUL (Warren) – Gutted out a finger injury on his shooting hand that forced him to shoot free throws left-handed last Saturday as Warren lost to Stevenson 59-56. Paul went 0 for 10 from the line. The good news: X-rays revealed no fracture. Warren hopes to snap a three-game losing streak as it faces Libertyville today.

D.J. RICHARDSON (Findlay Prep, Las Vegas) – Richardson's 18 points were a key factor in Findlay Prep's 62-58 win against Orlando Christian Prep at the Montverde Academy Invitational. The Pilots (top-ranked by Rivals.com) went 3-0 at the weekend tournament to remain undefeated.

JEREME RICHMOND (Waukegan) – A double-double (29 points, 16 rebounds) helped lead the Bulldogs to a win against Maine South last Friday. He then erupted for 35 points on 15-of-18 shooting to go with 13 rebounds and nine blocked shots in a 106-88 spanking of North Chicago on Tuesday. New Trier is the next opponent today.

CRANDALL HEAD (Crane) – Had 24 points and 12 rebounds as the Cougars defeated Julian in the first round of the Public League playoffs Wednesday.

TYLER GRIFFEY (Lafayette, Mo.) – It does not happen often, but Griffey was not the Lancers' leading scorer Wednesday. He contributed 15 points and nine rebounds to Lafayette's 62-32 win against Fox. Marquette is next today.

WOMEN

ADRIENNE GodBOLD (Marshall) – Took control in the third quarter last Saturday, scoring 10 of her 24 points in Marshall's 58-35 win against Morgan Park at the Windy City Playoffs.

BRIANNA JONES (Toledo Central Catholic, Ohio) – Could not overcome a 15-6 first- quarter deficit in a 57-38 loss to Detroit Country Day last Saturday. Jones led the Fighting Irish with 11 points. Central Catholic struggled to beat Clay on Monday as Jones contributed 10 points. Jones scored 15 points to lead all scorers in a 68-56 win against Rogers on Wednesday.

KERSTEN MAGRUM (Lincoln-Way East) – Last Saturday at the Sweet 16 Tournament, she led all scorers with 27 points as the Griffins rolled past Johnsburg 75-55, then scored 26 points to go with 13 rebounds in a 52-42 loss to St. Charles North. Magrum shot 8 for 10 from the field and finished with 16 points as Lincoln-Way East beat Lincoln-Way North 46-38 Monday.

AMBER MOORE (Detroit Country Day, Mich.) – Led all scorers with 17 points in a much-anticipated matchup against Toledo Central Catholic last Saturday. Moore's 18 points helped keep Country Day unbeaten (14-0) in a 72-37 win against West Bloomfield on Tuesday. Saturday will see a matchup against Saginaw Arthur Hill.

KARISMA PENN (Shaker Heights, Ohio) – Had 26 points as the 11-5 Red Raiders slipped past Magnificat 53-48 on Wednesday. Shaker Heights will host Mentor on Saturday.

DESTINY WILLIAMS (Benton Harbor, Mich.) – Had 10 points in a 61-47 win against St. Joseph.

In the era of no names on jerseys, could you add to the stats of the above future Illini w/their postion and height??
