1977
Men's outdoor track and field at Memorial Stadium
— Seventh-place Illini produced five top-four performances
1979

— Fans saw Renaldo Nehemiah, who still holds collegiate record, win 110 hurdles
2004
Men's gymnastics at the Assembly Hall
— Illini sophomore Justin Spring won first of his four NCAA titles
