Illini junior golfer Scott Langley is on the watch list for the 2010 Ben Hogan Award.

The 25-player list was announced last week. The award is presented annually to the top men’s NCAA Division I, II or III, NAIA or NJCAA golfer based on all collegiate and amateur competitions during a 12-month period.

Langley is the only Big Ten golfer on the watch list. The Manchester, Mo., native currently is No. 22 in the Golfweek/Sagarin ratings of men’s college golfers.

Hogan Award semifinalists will be announced April 14. The three finalists, to be announced May 11, will be invited to Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, for the award presentation on May 24.
