Illinois golf coach Mike Small carded his second consecutive 67 and remained in first place after two rounds of the 54th Illinois Open at the Glen Club in Glenview.
Small leads Mount Prospect''s Roy Biancalana and Chicago''s Jason Lee by 4 strokes.
Former Illini Geoff Lound is tied for 29th at 145 after a second-round 74.
Watseka''s Jerry Swain (149) and Danville''s Zac Zedrick (152) missed the cut.
