A look at how former Illini fared during the third week of the preseason:

Jon Asamoah, Chiefs – Saw time on the offensive line in a loss to the Eagles.

Alan Ball, Cowboys – Started at defensive back, made three tackles in a loss to Houston.

Arrelious Benn, Buccaneers — Played but was not thrown to in a loss to the Jaguars.

Josh Brent, Cowboys – Did not record any stats in loss to Houston.

Danny Clark, Texans – Did not play in victory against Dallas.

Jeff Cumberland, Jets – Was thrown at once in a loss to Washington.

Carey Davis, Redskins – Caught one pass for 9 yards in win against the Jets.

Jason Davis, Jets – Played fullback in his team's loss to Washington.

Vontae Davis, Dolphins – Started at cornerback, making seven tackles and forcing a fumble in a loss to Atlanta.

Will Davis, Cardinals – Played linebacker in a victory against Chicago.

David Diehl, Giants – Started at left tackle in loss at Baltimore.

Xavier Fulton, Buccaneers – Saw action at offensive tackle in loss to Jacksonville.

Kelvin Hayden, Colts – Starting corner had three tackles in loss to Green Bay.

Michael Hoomanawanui, Rams – Starting tight end had four catches for 53 yards and two scores in win against the Patriots.

J Leman, Vikings – Did not see action in game against Seattle.

Greg Lewis, Vikings – Had one catch for 20 yards in win against Seattle.

Brandon Lloyd, Broncos – Made four catches for 40 yards in a win against Pittsburgh.

Marcus Mason, Chargers – Did not play in loss to the Saints

Ryan McDonald, Chargers – Saw time at center in loss to the Saints.

Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers – Ran for 28 yards on five carries in a loss to Denver.

Brit Miller, 49ers – Had two tackles in win against Raiders.

Brandon Moore, Jets – Started at right guard in a loss to Washington.

Tony Pashos, Browns – Started at right tackle in a loss to the Lions.

Neil Rackers, Texans – Made two 23-yard field goals in a victory against Dallas.

Pierre Thomas, Saints – Starting running back had 68 totals yards in a victory against the Vikings.

Derek Walker, 49ers – Saw action as tight end in win against Raiders.

Steve Weatherford, Jets – Averaged 42.4 yards on five punts in loss to the Redskins.

Eugene Wilson, Texas – Starting free safety made two tackles in win against Dallas.
