Camp Rantoul: Morning Report

-- Today's workout, scheduled for 3:30 p.m., might be the final afternoon session of Camp Rantoul. The coaches are considering moving Friday's practice to the morning.

-- Saturday's scrimmage has been moved to the morning, likely at 10 a.m. The team will likely be on Field 3, the farthest west of the three fields.

-- Wednesday's evening workout pushed the "spirited" envelope. Ron Zook had to remind the players that they are on the same team, even if they are working on different sides.

-- A couple players to watch in the final few days of Camp Rantoul: tight end Evan Wilson and receiver Darius Millines. Based on their early work, it might be difficult to keep the freshmen off the field this season.

-- The Associated Press Top 25 will be released Saturday. The News-Gazette ballot listed defending national champion Alabama No. 1. The Crimson Tide should get most of the first-place votes.
