Camp Rantoul: Morning Report

-- Another perfect morning for football. In fact, you almost needed a jacket if you were watching from the sidelines. The weather has really worked in Illinois' favor during camp, with the worst conditions during the first week when the players were still relatively fresh. Now, as they start to tire out, the cooler temperatures arrive.

-- Thanks to HQ regular Chris from Romeoville for pointing out that Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino has a dress code for reporters. Here's the clip (stick around to the end for the punch line): Arkansas video. Actually, what the reporter did, no matter what the excuse, wasn't very smart. We are supposed to be neutral. Wearing clothing representing any school while interviewing a player/coach defies that neutrality.

-- There's a scout from the Jacksonville Jaguars at the morning practice, continuing a steady stream of pro personnel to visit Camp Rantoul.

-- The Friday and Saturday practices could be moved to earlier in the day. We'll keep you updated.

As a former Atlantan, it looks like (Bobby) Petrino's still a first class jerk. Almost makes Urban Meyer look human.
