Camp Rantoul: Morning Report

-- The Big Ten Network bus (easy to spot thanks to the "Icons" signage on each side) was at Camp Rantoul long after Illinois finished practice Monday night. The show featuring Illinois will be air at 7 p.m. Monday.

-- The team has a single session this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The final double sesson is Wednesday, with workouts at 8:05 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.

-- Traditionally, the final workout in Rantoul gets moved up so the players can have more free time on their final weekend before classes start. No announcement has been made yet about Saturday's workout.

-- The Paul Hornung Award watch list was just released. The award will go to the most versatile player in college football. No Illini made the initial list, but Indiana's Tandon Doss, Wisconsin's David Gilreath, Iowa's Derrell Johnson-Koulianos, Michigan State's Keshawn Martin and Ohio State's DeVier Posey made the cut. Players can be added later and Illinois' Terry Hawthorne could be a candidate if he serves a major role as a kick and/or punt returner.
