Mom wants Benn to return in 2010

Don’t pencil Arrelious Benn in for the 2010 NFL draft just yet. His mom, Denise, wants him back at Illinois next season.
“I would love to see him stay,” Denise Benn said.
Denise Benn said her son hasn’t moved forward in seeking an evaluation from the NFL. And she hasn’t heard from agents.
“I’ve not been getting any bothersome calls from anyone, and I appreciate that,” Denise Benn said. “It all keeps me grounded to the very real possibility of him staying.”
I want Benn to come back because he is exciting to watch and we need him if we ever hope to turn this thing around. Hopefully we will get an elite coach like Chris Petersen from Boise State to come in here and also help with that process and Benn can drastically improve his draft status. It always helps to stay as many years as you can.
Petersen will not come to Illinois. What reason would he have to come here? Boise State is the better program, is more highly regarded than Illinois, and has better recruiting grounds than Illinois currently enjoys. IF he ever does leave Boise State, it'll most likely be for a Pac-10 or Big 12 job because he's from the west coast. He has a great thing going at Boise State and is very happy out there.
