PLAYER OF THE GAME: ZEKE MARKSHAUSEN

As usual, former walk-on was the go-to wide receiver for the Wildcats, pulling in six catches for 104 yards and the first touchdown of the game. It was the second 100-yard game of the season for Rockford area product.

OFFENSE

Illinois D

After slow start, the Wildcats racked up more than 400 yards for fourth time this season. Illini didn't look right until they got in a hurry-up mode late.

DEFENSE

Illinois D plus

Unlike last week, Illini unable to put pressure on quarterback (one sack) or produce a turnover. Wildcats turned the game with interception late in the first half by Nate Williams.

Teams' field goal kickers were a cumulative 1 for 5. Arrelious Benn broke a 40-yard kick return for Illini. Good news, the Illini didn't get a punt blocked.
