Former Illini in NFL Week 6

ALAN BALL, Dallas. Reserve cornerback had the weekend off.

DANNY CLARK, N.Y. Giants. Starting outside linebacker had nine tackles (four solo) in 48-27 loss at New Orleans.

CAREY DAVIS, Pittsburgh. Fullback did not see the field in 27-14 home win.

VONTAE DAVIS, Miami. Cornerback had the weekend off.

WILL DAVIS, Arizona. Backup linebacker saw action but didn't record any stats in 27-3 win at Seattle.

DAVID DIEHL, N.Y. Giants. Starting left tackle wasn't flagged for any penalties, but it was a long day for an offensive line that ran for 84 yards and saw its quarterbacks get sacked twice.

KELVIN HAYDEN, Indianapolis. Cornerback had the weekend off.

GREG LEWIS, Minnesota. Receiver was back on the active roster but didn't have any passes thrown his way in 33-31 home victory against Ravens. He did have a special-teams tackle.

BRANDON LLOYD, Denver. Receiver could see action tonight at San Diego.

RASHARD MENDENHALL, Pittsburgh. Got the start at tailback again, rushing for 62 yards – including a 2-yard touchdown – and catching the ball twice for 15 yards in 27-14 home win against Cleveland. Also lost a fumble.

Brandon Moore, N.Y. Jets. Starting offensive lineman helped pave the way for 318 yards rushing, but the Jets lost 16-13 in overtime. QB Mark Sanchez was sacked twice.

Tony Pashos, San Francisco. Reserve tackle had the weekend off.

Duke Preston, Dallas. Three days after having his contract terminated, was re-signed by the Cowboys, who had a bye this week.

Neil Rackers, Arizona. Kicker was 2 for 2 on field goals (31, 29 yards) and nailed three extra points in 27-3 win at Seattle.

Pierre Thomas, New Orleans. Backup running back led the Saints in rushing with 72 yards on 15 carries (long of 25). Also recovered an onside kick in a 48-27 home win against Giants.

Steve Weatherford, N.Y. Jets. Had an eventful day, punting five times (43.2 average) and holding on four kicks (three FGs, one extra point). He also threw an interception on a fake field goal attempt in a 16-13 overtime home loss to the Bills.

Eugene Wilson, Houston. Starting safety had three tackles (two solo) in 28-7 victory at Cincinnati.
