The Big Ten Network will spotlight two Illini basketball games as part of its  "Greatest Games" series (7 p.m. Mondays):  Frank Williams' buzzer-beater against Ohio State in 2000 and the Flyin' Illini's win against Syracuse in the 1989 Elite Eight.

The 80-77 win against the Buckeyes will be shown Dec. 7. The 89-86 win against Syracuse, in which Illinois was led by Kenny Battle (28 points), Nick Anderson (24 points) and Kendall Gill (18 points) ·— will air Feb. 22.

On March 1, BTN will show Wisconsin's 60-59 win against Illinois from 2003, which gave the Badgers their first outright Big Ten title since 1947.

— Brian Barnhart and Kurt Kittner will call the UI's football game in CIncinnati.

— Dave Loane and Jerry Hester will call the UI's basketball games in Las Vegas.

— Brian Moline will call the UI's volleyball games Wednesday at Northwestern and Saturday at Minnesota.

— Patrick Pfingsten will call the UI women's basketball games Saturday and Sunday in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
