PARK RIDGE - Four members of the Illinois baseball team have earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for the third time.
Seniors Aaron Martin, Ben Reeser, Mike Stankiewicz and Nick Stockwell were among seven Illini spring sport athletes who became three-time winners of the award.  
The conference announced its 2008-09 academic honor team for spring and at-large sports on Friday.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must be letter winners in at least their second academic
year at their school and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Other Illini who received the award for a third time were golfer Nancy Featherstone, track and field athlete Greg Shroka and softball player Brooke Buzard.
Twenty more Illini became two-time winners of the award.
