News you can't leave work without:
Illinois will get a chance to play at Busch Stadium in 2010.
The Illini and Missouri square off at the home of the St. Louis Cardinals on April 7. Illinois released its baseball schedule Tuesday.
The Illini will face six NCAA tournament teams from a year ago: East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Missouri, Dartmouth, Indiana and Ohio State.
"We feel like we've put together a schedule that will challenge us," UI coach Dan Hartleb said. "Playing tough opponents early in the season will prepare us for the rigorous Big Ten schedule. We've also added a number of home-and-home series with in-state schools for the 2010 season, which has helped us improve our mid-week schedule."
The program's annual Hot Stove Banquet is Feb. 6 at the I Hotel in Champaign. The featured speaker is Cubs pitcher Randy Wells.
