CHAMPAIGN - Alyssa Petruzzello has known the University of Illinois women's swimming coach since she was a pre-teen swimming laps for a local club team.
Next season, the Centennial senior will be calling Sue Novitsky her coach.

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa's volleyball team has been tough at home this season, but No. 16 Illinois solved the Hawkeyes on Friday night in a Big Ten match.
Coach Don Hardin's Illini rallied for a 20-25, 25-11, 25-23, 25-22 victory, their sixth in a row and ninth in 10 matches.

CHAMPAIGN — The Illinois swimming and diving team jumped to a big lead on the first day of a two-day meet against Michigan State on Thursday.
The Illini compiled seven first-place finishes in 10 events to take a 120-66 advantage into tonight’s competition.
