Henry has Illini's attention  (Tuesday, March 2, 2010)

Henry also has scholarship offers from Illinois State, Nevada, Saint Louis and Baylor. The blossoming wing likely will earn even more high-major interest if he shows his improved skillset with the Chicago-based Rising Stars AAU program during the summer circuit.

"I just adapted to it," Henry said. "It's been fun."

Richmond on a roll  (Thursday, February 25, 2010)

JEREME RICHMOND (Waukegan) – Evanston had no answer for Richmond's 30-point effort Friday as Waukegan rallied to win 86-71. The next night, his double-double (16 points, 13 rebounds) helped the Bulldogs defeat Whitney Young 59-42 at the City-Suburban Shootout.

On Wednesday, he had 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead Waukegan over Deerfield 93-87 for the Central Suburban League Conference title.

Illinois adds kicker  (Thursday, February 11, 2010)

After sending a 47-yard field goal straight through the uprights during November's IHSA Class 7A state championship game, Wheaton Warrenville South kicker Nick Immekus had made up his mind. He didn't want the state title game -— WWS defeated Glenbard West 31-24 in double overtime — to be his last at Memorial Stadium.

So Immekus recently accepted a preferred walk-on roster spot at Illinois.

Richmond named McDonald's All-American  (Thursday, February 11, 2010)
