News you can't leave work without:
You might want to mark down the 2009 Illinois schedule in pencil, not pen.
While nothing is official, the school is in talks to move a pair of
late-season nonconference games.
"There's a good chance of open date (Nov. 21), Cincinnati (Nov. 27),
Fresno State (Dec. 5)," Illinois coach Ron Zook said. "So, bring your leg warmers
for the Fresno State game."
Currently, the Fresno State game is scheduled for Nov. 21 and Cincinnati
is on Nov. 28. By moving the Fresno State game back two weeks, Illinois
will be able to move the Cincinnati game to Friday for ESPN's benefit.
