Who knew Danny Clark was such a clothes horse? In this highly orchestrated behind-the-scenes video from PressPass TV, a camera crew follows the former Illini and current New York Giants linebacker on a few stops in New York City in November 2008. He's accompanied by defensive back Billy Parker, then with the Arena League's New York Dragons and now in the Canadian Football League. After a quick stop at a Dragons' press conference, Clark and Parker travel either by cab or limousine (can't tell which) to a clothing store. Clark does most of the talking, and he's impressed by the touch screen TV and credit card machine available to passengers. They're headed to Pelle Pelle, a store that appears to specialize in jackets. Clark is impressed with the wares, several times commenting on an item with "That's clean." (We're guessing that's a compliment.) The salesman drops Arsenio Hall's name as Clark checks out one of the coats. We learn that Pelle means skin in Italian, but a loose translation is leather. Clark places his order - it's in the mail, he later says -- but we don't see what he's purchased. Next stop is a fancy Italian restaurant, but Parker no longer is around and we don't go inside the eatery with Clark. Maybe next time. One of those oddities available on YouTube. Next time you see Clark, ask if he's been back to Pelle Pelle?
