Illinois has not only beat Ohio State seven of the last 10 visits to Columbus, it has also outplayed Las Vegas oddsmakers. Here are the point spreads for the seven most recent Illini wins at Ohio Stadium:

Big thing to consider, most of those games were played the week bfore the Michigan game, we don't have that luxury this year and Zook has been completely inept at preparing a team following a bye week.

I agree with the above comment, the timing of those games was a major factor. If we'd played @ Michigan the week before the Ohio State-Michigan game, odds are UI would have had similar success.

Here's another possible reason for the UI's success in Columbus before the '07 game: better quarterbacking.
