Oh this could be funny. Indiana has two offensive possessions, Tisdale has two blocked shots. Illinois is already up 8-0 with 18:30 left and Indiana was forced to call a timeout.

Games after a 7 day lay-off always worry me especially early.
Certainly an advantage to play a team like IU in this spot.
Great start.

I'll be honest, I haven't seen much CBB this year and have not caught any Illini game other than the Vandy one.
Where is Legion? I thought this guy was going to be your best player (practice reports of him making like 25 3's in a row or something).
Brumby
Jan 10 2009, 02:20 PM
Legion is normally the first guard off the bench, though he normally comes in the game after Calvin Brock, too. He plays ole defense, so Weber doesn't trust him too much, and thus his limited playing time.

Palming calls don't eventually add up to free throws

Weber's only challenge at this point is to get guys to stick to the game plan and play hard for 40 minutes. That and Legion hasn't shot well at home yet, so I'd expect to see him out there for extended minutes in the second half.

Honestly, I wouldn't have minded not having Gordon nearly as much if I knew he would only play for 1 year.
The Hoosiers might be a decent DII team this year. Maybe. And I love it.

Set shots are hard to get off when there's any kind of defense being played on you.
