Illinois will have to hang it's hat again on defense this season, which will make some fans very unhappy even during wins. Not as sexy to win 48-43 as it is 96-92.

Then again, losing 45-40 would be pretty horrible and that'll happen a few times this season too.

I like that play they ran. The ball started with Meacham at the top setting up the offense and then dribbling it to the left wing. While he was doing that, McCamey went from the right wing to the left low block. Meacham saw him after playing some catch with Frazier on the left baseline, and McCamey got the ball and quickly found Brock on the other side for about a ten footer from the short corner. Nice solid ball movement, and a well designed play.

Like what Davis is doing today, hope he can keep building on this. He's got the talent to be a pretty good player, IMO. Nice to see the big guys knocking down the FT's, too.
