WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP)—Purdue point guard Lewis Jackson is out indefinitely after surgery Tuesday to repair a foot injury he suffered in practice last week.

That is a major blow to the team. They do have a talented frosh PG, but they will definitely miss Jackson.

It certainly is a loss for the team, but I'm not sure that it will be critical blow for Purdue. Purdue has lots of talented guards on the team. Had the injury been to Johnson or Hummel, the loss would've HUGE as there is little depth in the post and rebounding is still a team weakness.
