Good morning. Got back late last night from great night at Coaches vs Cancer at the Beef House. Had a good time with Stephen Bardo, Steve Lavin and coaches Weber, Painter and Keady.
Lets get started
Andy from Tuscola, Illini — 11:03 AM on Thu, 11/05/2009
So what are Tuscola's chances on Saturday? I know they have 8 shutouts but base on the scores I cant see the competition being as good as what we have faced all year. It will hurt that are main tackler is off the team but it is a good chance for Brookins to show what he has.

Andy,
Dont know what the chances are but the competition can be pretty stiff once you get past the first ound...Everybody is pretty good now...no matter who you play.
Good luck to the Warriors. Even from a Unity guy!
Charley from Bellingham, WA — 11:06 AM on Thu, 11/05/2009
What kind of surprises, if any, do you think the Illini will bring to the Gophers Saturday?

Charley,
Surprises? I dont know.
I just want the Illini to do what they did in the second half of the game last week against Michigan. That team we saw in the 3rd and 4th quarters last week was the team we all thought would show up on September 5th against Missouri.
Take care on the West Coast!

Enjoy your radio broadcasts. Are you glad saturday's game wont be at the Metro Dome?

Stevie,
Thanks for listening!
Yes...I am glad the Gophers have a new on-campus, open-air stadium. The Metrodome was NOT a good atmosphere for college football....especially when the Gophers were struggling. There always seemed to be a lot of empty blue seats.
The one good thing about the radio booth in the Metrodome was its location. I had a great view of the field and scoreboard!
