Illini volleyball commitment Liz McMahon has excelled for the U.S. Girls' Youth Olympic Team at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. The middle blocker from Liberty Township, Ohio, had a team-high 12 kills in an opening win against top-seeded Belgium. She followed with seven kills, three blocks and two service aces against Egypt. The U.S. (2-0) will face Japan in the semifinals on Tuesday.
