UI volleyball lands commitment

Liz McMahon, a 6-foot-6 middle hitter from suburban Cincinnati, has committed to the Illinois volleyball team. Lakota West High School coach Tracey Kornau said Wednesday the junior informed her of the decision on Tuesday.
McMahon was a second-team all-stater last season and has been involved in USA Volleyball's developmental programs.
We're hoping to reach McMahon for an interview within the next day.
