Volleyball receives commitment

Just received an e-mail from Decatur Lutheran volleyball coach Elizabeth Morr. She confirms that her star middle blocker, sophomore Morganne Criswell, has orally committed to Don Hardin's Illini.
Criswell is the first member in the Class of 2011 to commit to Illinois. She joins four other known UI volleyball commitments. They include senior middle blockers Jessica Jendryk of Lisle Benet Academy and Erin Johnson of Crystal Lake South, junior middle blocker Anna Dorn of Munster, Ind., and junior libero/outside hitter Jennifer Bonilla of Reseda, Calif.
The signing period for volleyball seniors is Nov. 12-19.
