Thought I might be on the loose again this week at one of 16 regionals for the NCAA baseball tournament.  Unfortunately the Illini didn't have enough pace down the stretch and got passed by Indiana, Ohio State, and Minnesota.  The Illini's pitching, which had been a strength much of the season, was not as strong at crunch time.  Also, execution of the basics, at times, slipped away from the ball club.

Still, I had a blast.  Biggest home crowd ever was a highlight, and this years seniors and their families are a class act. 

Thanks to Dan and the staff for making me feel like a part of the team, once again.

Sorry I missed the kegger at Rossow's.  Watching it rain in Charlotte.  Fell asleep.
