No. 50: Eric Watts, athlete
Why he's important: The Jacksonville (Fla.) Wolfson product is the lone linebacker among the incoming freshmen. While Dan Disch continues to look for the right combination, the talented player will get a long look during Camp Rantoul. Besides working on defense, he could become a top special teams player.
Getting personal: "Edub" could be joining our profession. He likes to write short stories and poems. That will work. Bears fans will like him too. His favorite player is Chicago linebacker Brian Urlacher.
