No. 48: Graham Pocic, offensive lineman.

Why he's important: Though it seems like he has been on campus forever, the 2008 early enrollee is going into just his second full season. He goes into Camp Rantoul listed as a backup guard. But don't discount his ability to move into the starting lineup. A high profile recruit, Pocic wanted to play as a true freshman. But in the 2012 season, he will be thankful he redshirted.

Getting personal: One of the best days of his Illinois career, so far, came during his first spring. In 2008, Illinois held its annual Chicago area scrimmage at Lemont High School, where Pocic starred. There were oodles of family members and friends there to greet him on a cold day. Don't be surprised if Illinois returns to the school during Pocic's career. Lemont has talented recruits and the facility meets the team needs.
