Updated Prediction Standings PLUS Prediction for Illinois-Penn State

I got a pretty busy morning since it’s Monday, which means I don’t have much time to talk about the Illinois-Indiana game.  We won I guess, and I’ll just leave it at that.  Here are the updated prediction standings after Illinois’ 66-60 win.  Illinois is +6 in the real score difference.

My Prediction

ILLINOIS 73       PENN STATE 63

There should be a few more points in this game compared to that 38-33 slugfest from a year ago.  Taylor Battle is the only player scoring in double figures for the Nittany Lions, but the junior is averaging just over 18 ppg.  You stop him, and you stop Penn State.  Illinois should be able to handle this team at home and move to 4-0 in Big Ten play.

Not a whole lot of time since this game is tomorrow, but now it’s your turn to predict.  Will Illinois continue to protect the home court, or will their inability to get off to a good start finally come back to haunt them?  Predict in the comment section below, and also mention what you liked or didn’t like about the Indiana game.  If I wasn’t so busy today, I would have a lot more to say.  Talk to you guys soon.
