Big Ten tourney bracketology

Illinois has three games left in the regular season. As it stands now, the Illini would be the No. 4 seed in the Big Ten tournament, opposite No. 5 Wisconsin in the quarterfinals. That one would be a rematch of the final regular season game, when UW visits the Assembly Hall on March 7. Here's how the seeding would look if the tournament started today (instead of running March 11-14 in Indy) :

No. 1 Purdue
No. 2 Ohio State
No. 3 Michigan State
No. 4 Illinois
No. 5 Wisconsin
No. 6 Minnesota
No. 7 Northwestern
No. 8 Michigan
No. 9 Iowa
No. 10 Indiana
No. 11 Penn State

I see us opening with Wisconsin (we'll either be a four or a five seed opposite Wisconsin), then if we can somehow win that we'd likely play Purdue in the next round. That'd be a good rematch.

remember the year we played Michigan three times? Hard to beat any team inlcuding Wisconsin three times in one year... which of those games do we need to win the most?
