NIU visits Illinois without best player

Northern Illinois will be without its best player when the Huskies play at Illinois on Tuesday. Xavier Silas, a junior guard that transferred from Colorado, suffered a broken hand during a loss to Northwestern on Friday. He's expected to miss at least two weeks, the university announced.
